Hello guys,
Today I want to create a memo about my family in the UK. Time flies because it has been almost a year that my family has been living together in Hull. My sons still enjoy going to school.
The topic I want to share about the school is the progress of their English abilities.
I will describe Din first. Din can provide fluency in his reading. His class always rewards him for doing things well in some subjects. This is the best practice from the teacher's class to have positive reinforcement for children. All skills are not too worried about, but the social skills still make me anxious that much. He still plays with a few friends,2 -3 boys.
Dan has made slow progress. He is in phonics, spelling and reading. Not too much, but it is in progress.
Living here contains several cons, and I am unhappy about this.
Firstly, due to the weather conditions, it is associated with limited lifestyles. We naturally become passively spending life when compared with the last time. The boys spend their time on the phones all day, at least 10 hours. I also separate myself from them because I am hurrying to finish my study.
Today we had an argument about the misbehaving of the boys. I told them I would take them to Whitby Abbey because, as per the weather forecast, it would be a sunny day and nice weather to go out. They've already known that, but they insist on the time we should go. This made me crazy. I told them that because of this, I would cut the internet for 15 days throughout the school break. I hope it will change my son's behaviour to take a break from screens for a while.
